Well actually different traders are going to have different ways of trading here in the trade market and also different strategies being used.So some traders might prefer to trade the way you said ,trading with smaller volumes and lot sizes and then making small profits which will later add up as high profits.But there might be traders like me who would like to trade with the average lot sizes and then make profits.

Normally I like to trade depending on the investment that I have and also the pair that I am trading in,I neither trade with the maximum possible lot sizes nor with the minimum ones like you said.For example,If I have a investment of 150$ and looking at the current state of EURUSD I am going to need at least 130$ to be able to trade 1 lot.But I will not be trading 1 lot rather half of that 0.5 lots.And this way I am neither taking high risks nor targeting too high.

we do not need to take high amount of capital to start it and i guess $ 100 is too big, and it is enough to start it with $ 10 only or less then use cents account, it will give us enough margin to sustain our trading forex till 10000 pips, because on this point, we only need to get more experiences, continue learning after demo account, and also we will learn for how to manage and respect for every point we have made
