Well there is no doubt that forex market offer high leverage, but it is not right that stock brokers offer no leverage. I am having account with three brokers one offer 1:8 and other two 1:20 leverage. Actually the name used for this is margin and they say you are allowed to trade 1:8 your margin, but this facility is for day trading only, in case our trade turns to delivery either we have to deposit entire money before 5 days or square of those trades.

Forex is a very big market compared to the stock market.Stock market is different for different countries but forex is common for all the countries so the flow of money taking place in the forex is much greater than that of the stock market.Also stock market is not available for whole day while you can trade forex at any time in a day.

Well @akshay it is right that forex market is highly liquid and is very big in its own compare to small stock exchanges which are not centralised. But still there are some benefits that only stock market offers. First transactions are real, and when you buy a share you actually buy a part of company and gets right to vote on company decisions, also you may get physical delviery of stocks you bought and get dividend whenever the company distribute apart from the price appreciation in share prices. There is no physical develiry in forex market and this is no more than spread betting.

i think the stock market same trading forex in ,many faces but the forex have one special thing the leverage because without leverage we cannot trading forex because we need big capital to buy or sell any contract but leverage give us possibility to buy and sell with small money because it give us big free margin .so i think forex best than stock market we can start with only one dollar than stock market
